TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategy Execution & Business Planning
  • + Translate enterprise and HQ account strategy into actionable regional and field execution plans + Develop and manage
  • multi-year business plans (Y0-Y1 focus)
  • aligned to Bayer and partner priorities + Define and monitor quarterly roadmaps and key initiatives to deliver against strategic objectives + Identify critical business imperatives and ensure alignment across SAL, AL, UL, and BPL teams
  • Account Leadership & Relationship Management
  • + Maintain strong relationships with
  • National HQ and senior customer stakeholders
  • + Serve as a trusted partner to customers, driving joint planning and aligned business outcomes + Facilitate executive-level engagement and governance cadence across Bayer and partner organizations
  • Business Performance & Commercial Management
  • + Contribute to achievement of
  • revenue, margin, and share growth targets
  • for assigned accounts + Manage forecasting, budgets, inventory, and performance tracking + Oversee execution of
  • multi-year agreements, contracts, and funding mechanisms
  • + Monitor performance and activate recovery actions when required
  • Demand Generation & Portfolio Integration
  • + Drive adoption of
  • Whole Farm Solutions (Seed, Crop Protection, Digital)
  • across assigned accounts + Enable field teams (ULs, PBL, Squads) to execute integrated portfolio strategies locally + Identify and activate cross-portfolio growth opportunities and differentiation initiatives [
  • Market Execution & Supply Coordination
  • + Coordinate account-level
  • sell-in and sell-out strategies
  • to optimize volume and market share + Align purchase phasing, inventory levels, and demand signals with partners + Collaborate with field and supply teams to ensure effective execution of local business plans
  • Investment & Incentive Management
  • + Structure and manage
  • short-term and long-term market funding programs
  • + Align investments with defined business outcomes and performance targets + Track and ensure effective utilization of incentives and agreements
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • + Partner with SALs, ALs, ULs, PBLs, and functional teams to ensure aligned execution + Collaborate with customer-enabling teams to understand trends and unlock account opportunities + Drive a
  • one-team approach
  • across Bayer to maximize customer impact
  • Capability Development
  • + Strengthen account management practices and planning discipline across teams + Promote adoption of best practices in
  • cross-portfolio integration and execution
  • + Build financial, analytical, and digital capabilities to support business outcomes

  • Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
  • Required Qualifications:
  • + Excellent business acumen, strategic thinking, planning, negotiation, critical thinking and leadership skills + Strong analytical and innovative sales and negotiation skills; detail orientation + Ability to balance Bayer and customer needs to achieve mutually beneficial business results.
+ A high degree of leadership and collaboration between Bayer field teams, units, SALs and accounts + Ability to influence without authority Strong communication & influencing skills to drive execution of account plans with stakeholder + Ability to quickly build strategic relationships and influence behavior through building trust and being inclusive + Advanced account management and business planning skill set + Willingness to invest in financial acumen and continue to develop skill set to drive both top and bottom-line growth + Strong digital fluency as it relates to account usage of farmer management information systems This posting will be available for application until at least June 18, 2026. Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $146320- 219480. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. If selected for this role, the offer may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
