This pivotal role involves overseeing end-to-end supply chain activities, managing warehouse and transportation functions, and driving continuous process improvements to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in logistics management, team leadership, and process optimization, ensuring seamless distribution operations while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Duties Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution management to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Manage transportation planning and logistics management using advanced Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to optimize freight routes and reduce costs. Supervise warehouse staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and efficient team. Implement process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices to streamline workflows and eliminate waste. Monitor profit & loss statements, budgeting processes, and supply chain analytics to maintain financial health and operational efficiency. Coordinate with 3PL providers and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) partners for freight forwarding, procurement, and order fulfillment activities. Utilize ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and inventory management tools for accurate materials management, demand planning, and inventory control. Lead production planning efforts aligned with demand forecasts while managing procurement strategies to ensure optimal stock levels. Ensure compliance with safety standards, shipping & receiving protocols, and regulatory requirements across all distribution operations. Drive initiatives in supply chain management that enhance process management, logistics coordination, and distribution operations for maximum productivity. Experience

FEDEX OPERATIONS
/ assistant BC experience. Proven supervisory experience in warehouse operations or distribution management within a logistics or supply chain environment. Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and inventory management tools. Demonstrated ability in profit & loss management, budgeting, demand planning, and process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. Experience working with 3PL providers, NVOCC operations, freight forwarding, procurement, and order fulfillment processes. Skilled in transportation planning, materials management, production planning, and distribution operations with a focus on continuous improvement. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence. Familiarity with supply chain analytics to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction strategies. Supervising experience in logistics or warehouse environments is highly preferred along with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for reporting and analysis purposes.
