About Your Role:
As an Operations Manager at one of Dollar Tree's Distribution Centers, you'll partner with other leaders to oversee safe, clean, and efficient receiving, order filling, and shipping operations in a high-volume, multi-shift environment. You'll ensure work is performed according to SOPs while meeting productivity and quality goals and reinforcing Dollar Tree's culture of safety, sanitation, and customer service. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Distribution Center Operations:
+ Coordinate and manage the filling of store orders, order selection, trailer loading, and related documentation + Monitor loads to ensure merchandise is loaded according to quality and stability standards + Coordinate and manage the flow of order selection functions from primary pick locations through outbound trailer close + Assist in coordinating replenishment cycles to ensure timely restocking of primary pick locations + Establish and monitor daily selecting and loading schedules to ensure adherence and proper resource utilization
Inbound Operations:
+ Manage and coordinate the receipt, unloading, and checking of merchandise + Monitor inbound loads to ensure unloading priorities are followed + Coordinate the flow of reserve inventory from receiving docks to reserve locations + Monitor reserve areas to ensure orderly and accurate storage of merchandise + Establish and monitor daily receiving schedules to meet operational priorities and cost controls
Performance, Safety & Quality:
+ Monitor and manage key productivity indicators including safety, financial, productivity, service, and people metrics + Ensure accuracy, housekeeping, damage reduction, and safety through enforcement of company standards + Foster a culture of safety, sanitation, integrity, and customer service
Leadership & Administration:
+ Manage the development, implementation, and administration of operational policies, programs, and systems across all shifts + Establish methods and procedures for departmental work activities and resolve operational issues + Partner with Human Resources on hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating, and developing associates To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
