SierTeK Ltd. is seeking Scheduling Support to support an opportunity at Whiteman AFB, MO . Position Overview Section SierTeK is seeking a qualified Wing Scheduler / Operations Scheduling Specialist to support Bomber Squadron Operations Support (BSOS) within the Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC). Scheduling is a challenging, dynamic, process. Even after the schedule is printed, numerous changes are normally required because of aircraft mechanical problems, medical issues, flight evaluation requirements, expiring event currencies, deployments, and student training continuity. Weather conditions and other factors beyond the control of the scheduler also limit flying opportunities. The scheduler needs to be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances in a medium-to-high-stress environment. Essential Job Functions Develop and maintain long-range flying and training schedules to support wing-level operations, tanker priorities, agile combat employment (ACE) initiatives, and mission readiness requirements. Coordinate with Operations Groups, tenant units, and leadership teams to align scheduling activities with organizational objectives, resource availability, and operational priorities. Analyze mission, training, and resource utilization data to optimize scheduling effectiveness and support strategic planning efforts. Generate reports, metrics, and scheduling products to inform leadership decision-making and operational planning. Manage scheduling information within approved scheduling systems and ensure accuracy of long-range planning data. Provide training, guidance, and knowledge transfer to Operations Group personnel on scheduling processes, tools, and long-range planning capabilities. Collaborate with Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, and other partner organizations to synchronize schedules and maximize resource utilization across the enterprise. Minimum Position Requirements Possess an active Secret Security Clearance or previously held Secret Clearance which has expired (not revoked) Possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a squadron aircrew scheduler Possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with PEX or similar proprietary scheduling program High school diploma SierTeK is an equal opportunity employer.
