Salary:
$85K - $95K A senior operations manager oversees all operational activities within an organization, ensuring smooth and efficient processes by managing staff, monitoring quality, optimizing workflows, and implementing process improvements to achieve company goals, including cost control and productivity maximization; key responsibilities include hiring and training employees, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Operations Manager:
Process Improvement:
Identifying and implementing operational improvements to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
Quality Control:
Establishing and maintaining quality assurance programs to monitor product or service quality and identify areas for improvement.
Performance Monitoring:
Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Staff Management:
Hiring, training, and supervising operational staff to ensure efficient performance and adherence to company standards.
Compliance Oversight:
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
Problem-Solving:
Identifying and resolving operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Reporting and Analysis:
Preparing reports on operational performance and providing insights to senior management.
Resource Allocation:
Optimizing the allocation of resources (personnel, equipment, materials) to meet operational needs.
Required skills and qualifications:
Leadership skills: Ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
Analytical skills:
Strong data analysis skills to identify trends and make informed decisions.
Problem-solving skills:
Ability to diagnose and resolve operational issues efficiently.
Communication skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication to convey information clearly to all levels of the organization Project management skills: Ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects to achieve deadlines Technical proficiency: Knowledge of relevant software and systems used in operations management Relevant education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or a related field
Experience:
7-9 Prior years of experience in operational manager role Work closely with Human Resources Collaborate with other managers
