We are seeking qualified candidates for an Operations Supervisor for the Shipping Department at the US Distribution Center. This is a 2nd Shift position; Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM.

Responsibilities of the position include:

Assign daily work assignments based on workload and customer orders. Conduct daily start up communication meetings. Monitor associates' activity during the work shift. Ensure production standards are maintained. Manage a team of full-time and temporary workers during the work shift. Plan labor to meet business demands. Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures, including safety policies and procedures. Administer coaching and counseling as approved by Distribution Director and HR Manager. Other duties approved by the Distribution Management Team.

Requirements of the position include:

High School Diploma or Equivalent 2 years of supervisory experience in distribution or logistics is required. Must possess basic computer skills/knowledge of warehouse management system preferred. Must be familiar with logistic methodology regarding traffic/carriers/loads. Must have strong skills in handling high volume product movement. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and work in a demanding environment. Must possess solid written and communication skills. Our employees enjoy working in a drug-free environment.
