Job Description:

Director of Test Site Operations Hancock County, Mississippi An innovative space technology company is seeking a Director of Test Site Operations to lead and scale a high-performance propulsion test facility supporting engine development through to high-cadence production testing. This is a critical leadership role with full ownership of test infrastructure, site operations, and technical execution. You will play a key part in building and operating a world-class test environment within a fast-paced, mission-driven organisation. You will lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering and operations, driving test site performance, infrastructure development, and program delivery. This role requires a hands-on leader comfortable operating across technical, operational, and logistical domains.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor engineering and technician teams across engine testing, test stand development, and infrastructure operations. Own project planning, budgets, and schedules, ensuring successful delivery across multiple programs. Manage contractors and suppliers supporting site operations and development. Drive continuous improvement of test infrastructure to enable high-frequency testing. Oversee site operations including administration, supply chain, and logistics. Ensure a strong safety culture and compliance across all activities.

Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related technical discipline. 10+ years of experience in propulsion engineering or propulsion test leadership. Proven experience delivering within fast-paced, high-pressure technical environments.

Desirable experience:

Advanced degree in an engineering discipline. Experience with cryogenic propellants such as liquid methane or LNG. Background across subcomponent to full system-level testing. Experience with data acquisition or control systems. Familiarity with complex IT systems supporting test operations.
