Job Description
Eaton's Electrical Sector - PDCA division is currently seeking a Plant Operations Manager - Low Voltage Assembly based onsite at our Arden manufacturing facility in Asheville, TN. Relocation assistance is available to candidates who currently reside within in the US. The Plant Operations Manager provides strategic leadership for the Low Voltage Assemblies manufacturing team, driving performance in safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery. This role is responsible for overseeing all Customer Order Manufacturing operations within the Low Voltage Assemblies product line, ensuring the achievement of Sales Billed and Operating Profit objectives. By leading cross-functional manufacturing activities, the Plant Operations Manager ensures the efficient conversion of product designs into high-quality finished goods that meet customer specifications, regulatory standards, and delivery commitments while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The expected annual salary range for this role is $146,000 - $215,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What you'll do: Establish operations strategic direction for product line considering the key business drivers of Customer Satisfaction, Growth and Innovation, Profitability and Asset Management, Perfect Quality and Excellence Through People. Develop action plans and objectives from the operations strategic plan. Cascade objectives throughout entire work force. Responsible for deployment of MESH (Eaton Safety Program) to support a Zero Incident Culture; establish and monitor safety and housekeeping standards. Ensure required documentation and/or system transactions are executed to meet customer, manufacturing system and financial reporting requirements. Plan and monitor key metrics to ensure quality, cost, delivery and safety requirements are met. Co-ordinate manufacturing schedules and priorities within the production plan to satisfy customer requirements. Control in-process inventory to achieve production requirements with minimum impact on inventory levels. Direct application of capital and people resources to maximize operating efficiency. Facilitate problem-solving and corrective action for production issues. Monitor performance to objectives, implementing responsive tactical changes as required. Foster a relationship of teamwork throughout the operations of the plant. Promote continuous improvement throughout the organization to reduce total cycle time. Encourage innovative approaches to organization improvement. Select and develop a staff to manage the product line including administering the Performance Management Process for the product line. Administer plants Human Resources policies and guidelines. Utilize Continuous Improvement Framework to drive CI initiatives throughout the LVA value stream including; Daily Accountability, Standard Work, Gemba Walks, etc.
