Operations Manager

Part-Time Operations Manager Freedom's Hope Compassionate Ministry Center is a faith-based nonprofit seeking a compassionate, organized, and mission-driven Operations Manager to help lead our day-to-day work serving neighbors experiencing poverty and homelessness. This part-time role is ideal for someone with a heart for service, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to helping individuals move toward stability and independence. Why Join Freedom's Hope? Our Center opens four mornings a week, offering essential services such as showers, laundry, meals, clothing, educational support, and on-site nursing care in partnership with Cone Health. • Oversee the day-to-day operations
• Lead, train, encourage, and schedule volunteer staff.
• Promote a culture of compassion, accountability, safety, and encouragement.
• Support participants by helping address needs and foster a welcoming environment.
• Maintain accurate volunteer and participant records.
• Partner with the Executive Director to guide center processes and programming. Ideal Candidate
• Ability to work independently and lead with maturity, compassion, and consistency.
• Strong communication, team-building, and volunteer coordination skills.
• Understanding of the population we serve and a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach.
• Experience in organization, problem solving, and conflict de-escalation is preferred.
• Reliable, encouraging, and committed to collaborative community service.
• A respected member of a local Christian church.
• Available Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.
