40.0 Overview Responsibilities Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, and production targets are met Manage and coordinate production schedules to optimize throughput and efficiency Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards Monitor performance metrics and utilize data-driven insights to improve processes Lead, coach, and develop frontline supervisors and production teams to foster a high-performance culture Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, setting clear expectations and holding teams accountable Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and Lean methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce waste Partner with engineering to support equipment performance, upgrades, and modernization efforts Support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and HR to ensure cross-departmental alignment with customer commitments and operational goals Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience 5-10+ years of manufacturing or operations leadership experience in a production environment Proven experience leading teams and managing production schedules Strong knowledge of performance metrics, production planning, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work onsite with consistent shop floor presence System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
