Job Description
General Responsibilities
Reports to the Director of Operations
Provides general clerical and administrative support to the Director of Operations. Generate correspondences, memos, presentations, and meeting materials; copy, collate, and bind when necessary.
Arrange meetings as requested. Maintain a calendar and schedule appointments for the Director of operations as requested. Ensure your site is operating effectively.
Oversee the program needs and assigned tasks. Assist in review of budgetary responsibility includes oversight of the facility's processes and activities to achieve KPI's across multiple categories including labor, waste, quality, costs, efficiencies, safety, etc
Assist in Monitoring departmental performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary.
Responsible for achievement of department efficiency goals, and standards.
Work closely with Human Resources Manager in implementing and adhering all employees to policies and processes
Use data and insights to drive business performance.
Nurture relationships with the staff that result in a productive environment that is founded on mutual trust and respect.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Business, Office Administration , or related field
- Experience in an office setting regularly engaging with the general public, OR Combination of education, experience, and background equivalent to above
- Knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment
- Knowledge of computer and office applications
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills
- Excellent customer service/communication skills
- Ability to foster and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing to students, parents, colleagues, and the community
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to accurately maintain required documentation and prepare reports
- Ability to seek and identify methods for continuous improvement of the program
- Understanding and respect for the diverse backgrounds of students, staff, and college community
- Experience working in student data management systems.
