Full-Time, Exempt Position Summary The Operations & Outreach Manager supports the day-to-day operations, administrative functions, community outreach, communications, and public engagement efforts of Connections of Cumberland County, Inc. This position works closely with the Executive Director, Board Committee(s) and staff to ensure efficient organizational operations while promoting Connections' mission and presence throughout the community. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate a genuine heart for serving women, children, and families in our community. Essential Responsibilities Operations & Administration Assist the Executive Director with daily organizational operations and administrative functions. Support facility management, maintenance coordination, supplies, vendors, and general office needs. Assist with staff coordination, scheduling, communication, and administrative oversight. Maintain organized records, files, forms, and operational documentation. Assist with grant reporting, including gathering information, maintaining supporting documentation, and meeting reporting deadlines. Assist with charitable solicitation license renewals and other organizational registrations, renewals, and compliance requirements. Assist with organizational policies, procedures, and systems designed to improve efficiency and accountability. Assist the Executive Director with special projects and organizational initiatives. Community Outreach & Communications Manage Connections' social media platforms and develop engaging content that reflects the organization's mission, programs, services, and impact. Maintain and update the organization's website to ensure information is accurate, current, and engaging. Maintain bulletin boards, informational displays, flyers, and other materials throughout the facility. Assist with newsletters, promotional materials, community announcements, and other communications. Assist with planning, promoting, and coordinating fundraisers and special events. Attend community events, resource fairs, meetings, and networking opportunities as a representative of Connections. Develop and maintain positive relationships with community partners, businesses, donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders. Identify opportunities to increase awareness of Connections and its services within the community. Coordinate volunteer and intern inquiries, applications, records, scheduling, and communication. Assist with volunteer and intern onboarding and orientation. Coordinate volunteer and intern placements with appropriate staff and organizational needs. Help create meaningful opportunities for community members to support the mission of Connections. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Work Environment This position primarily works in an office and community-based environment and regularly interacts with staff, clients, volunteers, interns, community partners, donors, and members of the public. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for community events, fundraisers, meetings, or other organizational activities.
