Field Manager I

Custom Home Exteriors is a leading residential and commercial exterior contractor operating across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. We build exceptional homes, and we build exceptional teams. We're looking for a Field Manager who leads from the front, holds the quality line, and helps our crews do their best work every day. What you'll do Coordinate upcoming jobs, verify scheduling, selections, trades, materials, and deliveries at least 1.5 weeks ahead of builder request dates Lead pre-construction walkthroughs with installers, covering job details and OSHA compliance Oversee active job sites, inspect for OSHA compliance, verify installation meets manufacturer specs and builder scope, and keep sites clean and orderly Manage VPO and additional work order processes from request through completion and payment approval Conduct final walk-throughs with builders, identify punch list items, and ensure corrections are made within 24 hours Serve as the first point of contact for labor sourcing and builder escalations in your market Write and deliver Q1-Q4 reviews for Field Operation Leaders and provide ongoing 1:1 coaching and mentoring Own safety coordination for your market, ensure all Safety and Quality Forms are completed, and violations are documented and corrected immediately Walk 100% of completed homes in your area to verify quality standards are met on every job Maintain CHE Portal daily and keep all reporting (Status 3, Status 4, Open

% Complete) current and accurate What we're looking for Proven experience in exterior construction, field operations, or production management Strong working knowledge of OSHA requirements and jobsite safety practices Ability to read and interpret spec sheets, scopes of work, and installation guidelines A leader who has experience managing, developing, or mentoring field personnel Excellent communication with builders, installers, and internal teams Detail-oriented with strong follow-through, you close the loop every time Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-job, multi-market environment Valid driver's license and ability to travel within your assigned market
