Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Place and Finish Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial and residential projects valued at $1-$5 million, with a strong emphasis on concrete flatwork and finishing. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands strong leadership, the ability to be hands-on in the field with the crew, and a drive to refine internal processes while minimizing waste.
Key Responsibilities Project Management & Oversight:
Oversee all field operations from mobilization through closeout, planning staffing, and managing materials and equipment.
Coordination & Scheduling :
Manage and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure safe and efficient performance, enforcing project schedules and performance standards.
Quality & Safety:
Monitor progress, resolve field issues, uphold safety procedures, coordinate inspections, and ensure full compliance with building codes.
Administration & Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation for RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists.
Communication & Account Management:
Nurture existing customer relationships, collaborate on pre-sales and new business development, and communicate consistently with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers.
Requirements Experience:
Minimum 10+ years of hands-on concrete forming and finishing experience or a comparable construction leadership role.
Technical Skills:
Strong ability to read blueprints and technical documents, alongside deep knowledge of concrete construction methods and sequencing.
Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with technology, including MS Office, Google Workspace, and project management software.
License & Location:
A valid Driver's License is required. Must have the ability to commute or relocate to Minot, ND.
Compensation, Benefits & Contract Terms Base Pay:
$2,000 USD / week.
Performance Pay:
Bonus based on project profitability (percentage to be discussed during interview).
Contract Duration:
3-month contract minimum, with option to extend depending on work available.
Vehicle & Equipment:
Company-provided work truck, tools, and technology package (laptop and cell phone).
Additional Benefits:
Relocation package to Minot, ND and flexible schedule.
