Job Description
Executive Director Ainsworth Housing Authority The Ainsworth Housing Authority is seeking a dedicated and motivated Executive Director to oversee the management and operation of our 30-unit public housing community in Ainsworth, Nebraska. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys serving the community and making a positive impact in the lives of others while leading a respected public housing organization. Position Responsibilities The Executive Director is responsible for the overall administration and operation of the Housing Authority, including: Financial management and budgeting Personnel supervision Property operations and maintenance oversight Resident relations Regulatory compliance Strategic planning Working closely with HUD and other governmental agencies Reporting to and implementing policies established by the six-member Board of Commissioners Qualifications The successful candidate will: Possess excellent supervisory, planning, financial, administrative, and public relations skills Be highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Demonstrate strong integrity, professionalism, and trustworthiness Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Be proficient with computers and office software Knowledge of or experience with HUD public housing programs or other federal housing programs is preferred , but not required.
