Job Description

Specialty Program Group (SPG) is the wholesale & MGA division of HUB International. SPG acts in a holding company capacity acquiring best in class underwriting businesses to operate independently under distinct brands (portfolio companies). Position Overview The Manager, Operations Delivery is responsible for leading and coordinating the successful implementation of Operational systems, applications, and migration of data. The Operations Delivery Manager ensures all migrations are executed with minimal disruption, maintaining data integrity and performance throughout the transition. The ideal candidate has strong project leadership skills, a deep understanding of legacy and modern systems, and experience managing complex migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage team of Migration Support Specialists supporting system implementation. Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of insurance system migrations (policy administration, claims, underwriting, etc.). Collaborate with business and technical teams to define migration requirements and success criteria. Design and oversee data migration strategies, including mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation. Develop detailed migration strategies, timelines, and resource plans. Manage cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to execute migrations effectively. Lead change management efforts to support user adoption and minimize disruption. Monitor and report on progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders. Ensure a smooth transition to support teams. Conduct post-migration evaluations and ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer to support teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with system migrations 5+ years Operations Property Casualty insurance experience with a Wholesale Agency or MGA Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in policy administration, claims processing, or underwriting. Proven experience in data migration projects or IT system implementations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with insurance software systems and platforms, AIM & Image Right, is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-phase migration projects. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
Salary:
Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $95,000 t0 $120,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
