Full-Time About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Director of Retail & Marketplace Operations to lead and optimize retail commerce and marketplace channel performance across major retail partners. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, digital shelf strategy, product discoverability, marketplace growth, and retail content effectiveness across multiple commerce ecosystems. The ideal candidate combines expertise in retail operations, eCommerce, marketplace management, digital merchandising, product information management (PIM), and cross-functional leadership to improve visibility, customer engagement, and business growth. Key Responsibilities Retail & Marketplace Operations Leadership Lead day-to-day retail and marketplace operations. Oversee product launches, content deployment, promotions, and operational readiness. Ensure product accuracy, consistency, and compliance across retail channels. Resolve operational challenges and drive process improvements. Digital Shelf Optimization Improve product visibility and performance across retail platforms. Optimize product content, assortment visibility, and product detail pages. Monitor category performance and competitive positioning. Drive continuous improvement in digital shelf health and customer engagement. Search & Product Discoverability Enhance product findability within retailer search environments. Monitor search rankings and discoverability metrics. Partner on keyword and content strategies that improve visibility. Support category navigation and customer search experiences. Product Information Management (PIM) Maintain product data accuracy and governance. Manage product attributes, catalog readiness, and content syndication quality. Ensure scalable and consistent product information across channels. Product Launch & Promotional Readiness Coordinate product launches and promotional activations. Validate content readiness and assortment availability. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution. Retail Growth & Performance Analyze category and channel performance. Identify opportunities to improve revenue, visibility, and market share. Provide recommendations based on performance trends and competitive insights. Future Commerce & AI Readiness Support initiatives focused on AI-powered product discovery and emerging commerce technologies. Improve content structure, product knowledge management, and future-ready commerce capabilities. Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with marketing, content, media, sales, operations, and retail stakeholders. Align execution strategies with business goals and customer needs. Serve as a key leader for retail commerce operations and channel performance. Qualifications Required 8+ years of experience in retail commerce, marketplace management, eCommerce operations, digital merchandising, or related fields. Experience supporting major retail and marketplace channels. Strong understanding of digital shelf optimization and retail search environments. Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives and driving operational improvements. Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Experience with consumer products or consumer electronics. Knowledge of marketplace platforms and retail content syndication tools. Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems. Familiarity with digital shelf analytics platforms and retail media environments.
