Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Venue and Site Manager to lead the operations of our event spaces and facilities. This energetic role requires a proactive leader who thrives in managing diverse teams, overseeing event execution, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess extensive venue management experience, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and have a passion for delivering memorable events. As the central figure in operational management, you will coordinate all aspects of venue activities, supervise staff, and uphold the highest standards of service and safety. Duties Oversee daily operations of the venue, ensuring smooth execution of events from setup to breakdown Lead and supervise a team of staff members, including scheduling, training, and performance management Coordinate with clients and vendors to plan event logistics, including technical requirements, catering, and guest services Manage operational aspects such as budgeting, cash handling, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by implementing first aid procedures and maintaining safety protocols Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes, operational issues, and staff performance for senior management Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee a positive experience for all attendees Skills Proven experience in venue or event site management with a strong background in hospitality or resort environments Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising teams and making managerial decisions confidently Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing, scheduling, and communication purposes Excellent management skills with a focus on operational efficiency, team management, and customer service excellence Skilled in supervising event logistics, shift management, and guest services to ensure seamless event delivery Strong understanding of budgeting processes, cash handling procedures, and operational management strategies Technical proficiency in managing audio-visual equipment or other event technology is preferred Certified in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during all operations Experience with resort or large-scale event venues is highly desirable Previous assistant manager or managerial decision-making experience is advantageous Join us as a Venue and Site Manager to lead vibrant events that leave lasting impressions! $40,000.00 - $62,723.07 per year
