Job Description
Overview The Civic League of the Greater New Brunswick is seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative & Community Operations Coordinator to support the organization's daily operations, youth programming, marketing, and community engagement. This position also serves as the Site Facilitator for the Beyond the Bell Afterschool Program, ensuring the program's daily operations run smoothly while supporting the organization's administrative and operational needs. Responsibilities Serve as the Site Facilitator for the Beyond the Bell Afterschool Program. Coordinate daily operations of the after-school program, including monthly reports, student attendance, staff communication, and family engagement. Maintain confidential personnel and student files. Process payroll and maintain employee records. Prepare board meeting documents, reports, and professional correspondence. Manage invoices, bills, and office supply orders. Create and manage Indeed job postings and assist with hiring and onboarding. Assist with community outreach events and partnership initiatives. Assist with marketing efforts, including social media, newsletters, and promotional materials. Maintain and update the organization's website. Perform general administrative and operational duties to support the Civic League's mission. Experience Bachelor's degree required. Two or more years of administrative, program coordination, or office management experience. Experience working with youth or in an educational or nonprofit setting preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Canva. Experience maintaining websites (WordPress or similar) is preferred. Ability to work independently, build relationships with families and community partners, and manage multiple priorities.
