Under the direction of the Director of Student Affairs Operations, the Department Administrator - Operations provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and project management support to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of departmental activities. The position plays a key role in facilitating services and projects that enhance the student experience while ensuring compliance, operational effectiveness, and the smooth day-to-day management of departmental operations. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Provides high-level administrative support to Directors, including managing confidential communications, coordinating projects, and facilitating operational initiatives. Supports budget planning and tracking, processes invoices and purchase requests, and monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with institutional policies. Coordinates daily office operations, manages calendars, monitors deadlines, and provides administrative support to contract management and registrar functions. Prepares reports, correspondence, meeting materials, and other administrative documents in support of departmental operations. Develops and maintains efficient workflows and procedures, and operational processes to enhance departmental effectiveness. Serves as a primary point of contact for routine inquiries, assisting contract and registrar staff with email correspondence and coordinating responses to internal and external stakeholders. Supports special projects, strategic initiatives, and process improvement efforts as assigned. Maintains departmental records, files, and documentation in accordance with institutional policies and confidentiality requirements.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating advanced knowledge of office administration principles and practices and a minimum of two years of administrative support experience.
