Director of Field Operations•Maintenance Summary:
The Director of Field Operations•Maintenance for Green Summit Landscape Management oversees all Maintenance Operations through exceptional team management, communication, training, and operational management. This is achieved through excellent training of direct reports on Green Summits maintenance operations best practices. The Director of Maintenance Field Operations is compensated with a base salary and the potential to earn annual performance bonuses, after a designated training period.Reports to:
VP of Operations Director of Maintenance Field Operations Responsibilities:
Oversees all maintenance operations for contracted maintenance customers. Ensures top tier production and service quality are being provided on Green Summit Contracted properties. Manages and supports Green Summit Maintenance Field Operations Managers (FOM's). Ensures direct reports are adhering to Green Summit policy and best practices. Provides in-formal on the job training and coaching as needed to help FOM's achieve their goals. Implement and manage a formal training plan for the Maintenance Field Operations Managers. Manages training schedule, topics, and materials. Ensures that FOM's are developing skills and tools to help them succeed at their jobs. It is the Director of Field Operations Managers job to ensure that FOM's are performing their job duties to the highest standards. Monitors performance metrics for the maintenance division. Provides coaching as needed when team members are not meeting their performance goals or Green Summit standards. Helps in determining budgets for the maintenance division. Provides input on what resources are needed for Green Summit to achieve their growth, operational, and financial goals. Holds one-on-ones weekly with all direct reports. This will help in developing a professional relationship and trust with your direct reports. In coordination with the Director of Customer Service, Manages BPR (Budget Performance Reviews) for each team member. Holds weekly BPR meetings for each division to track job performance of direct reports and provide coaching as needed. Manages accounts during Field Operation Managers transition periods (account managers moving on, area realignments, area expansion, etc…). Handles escalated operational concerns as needed. Monitors Green Summit bench depth for future growth. Works with the Field Operations Management team to determine field laborers that are ready for promotions to Right Hands, Crew Leads, and Field Operations Managers. Following Green Summits' mission to 'Cultivate the Growth and Development of our People'. Meets face to face with crews onsite, with the assigned Field Operations Manager, when needed to provide support for the crew members and FOM's. Oversees and manages weekly maintenance productions schedule. Develop crew routes that optimize route efficiency. Adjust the schedule for seasonal shifts according to individual job budgets and the Green Summit Bell Curve. Runs the daily huddle meeting with the operations and customer service team to ensure communication of daily activities, and team members have a solid plan of action for accounts on the hotlist. Attends weekly Enhancement Scheduling and Sales meeting. Reports any new sales updates at this meeting and ensures that sold enhancements are added to the production schedule. Meets with the Director of Customer Services frequently to discuss the performance of the maintenance division and maintenance team members. Helps determine action items that need to happen so the maintenance division can meet their quality, operational, and financial goals. Performs snow and ice management. Ensures enough staffing is ready to mobilize for snow operations should the need arise from a potential event. Responds to weather information, provided by the Account Management team, quickly and rapidly to determine routing and operational needs. Due to the timing of snowstorms this usually occurs during evening, late night, and/or early mornings.Competencies:

Is consistently at work and on time and ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.Qualifications:

4-year College degree or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Preferably a Business and/or Landscape Management Degree.Computer Skills:
Proficient in Windows 10 and earlier editions and latest editions in Microsoft Office applications; typing speed a minimum 65 wpm. Familiarity with accounting software, i.e. Quickbooks is preferred but not required.Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear and frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.Work Environment:
The work environment is a professional office setting. Often times will be working alone and therefore required to be self-motivated and self-starting to accomplish the job duties and responsibilities.Compensation:
