Night Manager Historic El Rey Theater | InsideOut

We're looking for a strong Night Manager to help oversee operations at both El Rey Theater and InsideOut in downtown Albuquerque. This is not a "babysit the building" position. We need someone who can lead staff, solve problems on the fly, keep customers happy, and help create a high-energy atmosphere during concerts, nightlife, and special events. Ideal candidates have bartending or bar management experience and understand how nightlife operates when things get busy, loud, and unpredictable. If you've worked concerts, live events, clubs, or fast-paced hospitality environments, you'll probably fit right in. Experience with event planning, talent buying, concert booking, promotions, or venue operations is a major plus. Responsibilities Oversee nightly operations and staff Manage bartenders, door staff, security, and floor operations Handle customer issues professionally and quickly Maintain a safe, organized, high-energy environment Coordinate with promoters, bands, DJs, and vendors Assist with event execution and venue logistics Support bar operations and cash handling procedures Ensure closing procedures are completed properly Qualifications Bartending and/or nightlife management experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to stay calm under pressure Reliable transportation Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and late hours Experience in event planning, concert booking, promotions, or venue management is a huge plus Experience with live music venues strongly preferred

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
