Job Description Job Description General Superintendent We're seeking a proven field leader to oversee the execution of large, complex commercial and industrial construction projects where safety, quality, planning, and craftsmanship are top priorities. This role is responsible for aligning field operations, labor strategy, prefabrication, project management, and subcontractor performance to deliver exceptional results. What You'll Do Lead field execution for large, complex commercial and industrial construction projects from planning through turnover. Develop project execution strategies that maximize safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance. Build, mentor, and develop teams of Superintendents, Foremen, and craft professionals. Partner closely with Project Managers and Operations leadership to ensure successful project delivery. Coordinate labor planning, manpower strategy, and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle. Utilize prefabrication, technology, and advanced planning to improve field efficiency. Monitor subcontractor performance, quality standards, and supplier coordination. Lead daily and weekly planning meetings to keep projects progressing safely and efficiently. Manage project closeout activities, including commissioning, owner training, punch lists, and turnover. Build strong relationships with owners, General Contractors, inspectors, and trade partners. What We're Looking For 15+ years of leadership experience with a General Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, or Structural Steel Contractor in commercial or industrial construction. Proven success leading large field teams on multi-million-dollar construction projects. Strong understanding of labor planning, productivity management, scheduling, and project execution. Experience mentoring Superintendents, Foremen, and future field leaders. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced construction environments. A leader who views safety, quality, and culture as competitive advantages.
