Senior staff Assistant (SL-3)Salary:
$60,000- $65,000 (full-time, temporary) The House Operations Director provides leadership and oversight for all front-of-house operations at the Anderson Center for the Performing Arts at Binghamton University.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree. Experience in event operations, customer service, hospitality operations, venue management, theater operations, or a related field. Demonstrated experience supervising staff, volunteers, or teams. Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Experience coordinating logistics for live events, public programs, or large gatherings. Written and verbal communication skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment and respond effectively during emergencies or high-pressure situations. Proficiency with scheduling systems, spreadsheets, and standard office software.Preferred:
Experience working in performing arts venues, theaters, concert halls, or higher education event operations. Experience supervising student employees within a university environment. Knowledge of crowd management, venue safety procedures, and emergency response protocols. Experience developing staff training programs and operational manuals. Familiarity with front-of-house theater operations and audience services management. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
