Job Description

You will play a key role in accelerating this transformation by building the next generation of our MarOps function. The foundations are already in place along with the resources to design and build your stack to serve Marketing's outcomes. Your mission is to move Justworks out to the frontier of marketing effectiveness. You'll be responsible for the systems marketing builds and runs on, how marketing measures its impact and improves, and the safe, effective use of agents to scale all of it. You'll do this as a functional owner working inside a matrixed operating model and in close partnership with leaders from Revenue, Product, Technology, and Data. What you'll be responsible for:
Demand Operations:
Decide what experience a customer sees and when, across every channel marketing runs, and own the handoff and re-engagement standards that move a customer from marketing to sales, partner, and self-serve paths.Marketing Activation:
Own the platform marketing executes through, including what marketing builds vs. buys, how it integrates with our GTM system, and which activation capabilities are required to deliver on the Marketing strategy.Marketing Intelligence:
Ensure marketing is able to understand the impact of its work on the business and enable teams to take action to improve performance and the customer experience.AI Capabilities:
Build the foundation that lets Marketing use AI safely and effectively, including the shared context humans and agents work from, the templates teams use to build their own agents, and rules for what an agent can do on its own vs. what needs a human-in-the-loop, and the observability standards that enable troubleshooting and improvement.Cross-functional GTM:
Own Marketing's engagement with Engineering, Revenue Operations, Product, Data & Analytics, and Security & IT on operating and building our growth engine.The team:

12+ years in marketing, business, or GTM operations functions, including responsibility for driving marketing effectiveness in a B2B or hybrid growth model.Builder Mindset:

Technical fluency and systems expertise, including composable CDP architectures (warehouse-native, reverse-ETL), data analytics and SQL, modern marketing activation and CRM platforms, and agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Opencode, and Codex.Leadership:
Experience hiring and growing senior individual contributors who operate as autonomous owners of their domain. Experience managing managers is not required.Partnership:
The ability to establish strong working partnerships across business and technical functions, including aligning on where each function's scope begins and ends, how to manage shared capabilities, and cross-functional commitments and collaboration standards. The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $188,000.00- $242,000.
