Job Description

Clark Companies, a prominent leader in the design and construction of high-end outdoor athletic facilities and a trusted aggregate supplier serving the Central New York region, is seeking an experienced and skilled Operations Coordinator to join our team in Delhi, NY.
Position Overview:
The Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting daily operations across our construction and aggregate divisions. The position serves as a central point of coordination between field employees, truck drivers, customers, and management to ensure efficient scheduling, accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and smooth material deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in aggregate materials and construction dispatching, along with a strong understanding of the financial operations of the aggregate business.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate weekly job assignments to field employees. Dispatch gravel deliveries and coordinate daily hauling schedules. Organize and schedule equipment moves in coordination with company truck drivers. Manage, supervise, and hire truck drivers. Calculate and track gravel royalties. Calculate gravel FOB, delivery pricing, and prepare customer quotes. Submit and calculate Highway Use Tax (HUT) and International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) reports. Work with the Gravel Operations Manager to ensure gravel bank operations remain compliant with current MSHA standards. Prepare and submit gravel bids. Review and approve gravel invoices for accuracy. Maintain accurate operational records and reports. Serve as a liaison between field operations, accounting, and management. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required). Experience with dispatching, logistics, or construction/aggregate operations preferred. Knowledge of MSHA regulations, IFTA, and Highway Use Tax reporting preferred. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Experience & Education:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction, aggregates, trucking, or operations coordination. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Background in dispatching, MSHA compliance and
DOT/IFTA
reporting preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range:
$80,000•$100,000 annually (commensurate on experience).
Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:00am•5:00pm.
