An established and growing equipment solutions provider is seeking an experienced Power Systems Service Supervisor to lead shop and field service operations in the North Syracuse area. In this role, you'll oversee daily service operations supporting power generation systems, marine engines, and industrial engines. You'll lead a team of skilled technicians, ensure customer expectations are exceeded, and drive a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Schedule and assign work for shop and field service technicians Monitor workflow and ensure timely completion of customer repairs and maintenance Lead, coach, and develop technicians through ongoing performance management Support technicians with complex diagnostics and repair challenges Open, manage, review, and invoice work orders Partner with customers to define repair scopes, communicate updates, and ensure satisfaction Analyze equipment issues and maintain detailed service records Collaborate with internal teams, including finance and operations, to support business objectives Conduct safety audits and enforce safety policies and best practices Maintain accurate customer files and operational documentation What We're Looking For Associate degree in Diesel Technology, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered Prior experience in power generation, industrial engines, marine engines, or a related industry Previous supervisory or management experience leading service teams Strong technical knowledge of generators, engines, and related equipment Proven ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with technicians, customers, and internal stakeholders Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software Excellent problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail Customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency and commitment to service excellence Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary: $80,000-$90,000, plus bonus, commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus opportunity Generous paid time off and company-paid holidays Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Company-paid life and disability insurance Retirement savings program with employer contributions Tuition reimbursement for eligible employees Employee referral incentives Additional voluntary benefits and discount programs If you're looking for an opportunity to make an impact, lead a talented team, and build a long-term career with a growing organization, we'd love to hear from you.
