Who You Are The ideal Production Manager is a results-driven leader with a strong foundation in manufacturing operations, team development, and continuous improvement. What You ll Do As a Production Manager , you will oversee daily manufacturing operations while leading and developing operations and logistics teams. You ll drive performance across key operational metrics while ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality production environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, coaching, and developing operations and logistics employees to achieve manufacturing goals Driving performance across key metrics including safety, quality, cost, sanitation, system utilization, and customer service Ensuring compliance with GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, FSMA, and all food safety standards while maintaining an audit-ready facility Managing staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize production efficiency Monitoring manufacturing processes, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective actions to improve performance Tracking, analyzing, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) Supporting and driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/TPM principles Serving as a technical and operational resource for system performance and product requirements Developing team capability through coaching, training, and performance management Fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and problem-solving Building strong cross-functional relationships to support operational success Performing other duties as assigned What We re Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Industrial Technology, or Supply Chain preferred Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing or operations experience required Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required Strong decision-making, planning, and organizational skills Experience with continuous improvement tools (Lean, TPM) preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to lead in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment Why Join Mennel?
