QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver's license, with acceptable driving record Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and progressive industry experience Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in feed manufacturing, animal nutrition or agribusiness operations, with direct P&L responsibility Proven Hands-on experience delivering excellent customer service in a sales and operations environment Strong Knowledge of agricultural technology tools (e.g., feed formulation software, inventory management systems, CRM platforms) Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and present effectively at all levels Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, respond promptly to inquiries and drive results in a fast-paced environment Strong business acumen, analytical problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree or professional certifications in animal nutrition, feed manufacturing or agribusiness management Experience managing feed mill operations, including production efficiencies, quality control and regulatory compliance Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans, pricing strategies and incentive programs High-level customer relationship management skills with a proven track record of building loyalty with growers and key accounts Collaborate cross-functionally with other divisions (Energy, Fleet, Agronomy, etc.) to identify synergies, support integrated solutions for customers, and contribute to overall cooperative growth Provide regular performance reporting, forecasting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and referrals Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequently required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time Frequently required to lift heavy objects no more than 50 pounds Occasional climbing, bending, stooping and working in confined spaces as needed for mill and facility oversight Ability to travel regularly for farm calls, customer visits, industry events, and operational reviews
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc. Exposure to typical feed mill, warehouses and agricultural environments, including dust, noise and machinvery
