Working Operations Manager / Field Operations Lead

Yard Duty Property Services Group is growing and looking for a Working Operations Manager / Field Operations Lead to help lead daily field operations. This is a hands-on leadership role. The right person will work in the field while also helping with crew leadership, job planning, quality control, customer communication, scheduling support, equipment checks, and team accountability. This is not a desk-only management position. This role is ideal for someone with landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, construction, or property maintenance experience who wants to grow into a larger leadership position as the company expands. Responsibilities Lead and work alongside field crews Help manage mowing, spring cleanups, fall cleanups, mulch, landscape work, small projects, and snow operations Ensure jobs are completed correctly, efficiently, and to company standards Help organize daily routes, job details, equipment, and materials Train, coach, and hold crew members accountable Communicate professionally with customers when needed Take before and after photos of completed work Inspect trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment Help identify material needs before jobs begin Assist with scheduling and production planning Support snow and ice management operations during the winter season Help improve company systems, processes, and field standards Qualifications Landscape, lawn care, snow removal, construction, or property maintenance experience preferred Prior crew leader, foreman, or field leadership experience preferred Valid driver's license required Reliable transportation required Ability to lift 50+ lbs Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and snow Ability to operate or learn landscape equipment Ability to drive a truck and trailer preferred Snow plowing and salting experience is a plus Comfortable using smartphone apps, GPS, photos, text, and basic technology Strong communication skills Dependable, organized, and able to work without constant supervision Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who: Takes pride in their work Can lead by example Understands both production and quality Can solve problems in the field Communicates professionally with customers and coworkers Wants more responsibility over time Is looking for a long-term opportunity, not just a seasonal job Wants to help build a growing company Compensation Starting pay is $26-$28/hour , depending on experience, leadership ability, and skill set. This is an hourly working leadership position with the potential for overtime during peak seasons and snow operations. This role also has a growth path into a larger Operations Manager / General Manager position as the company continues to expand.
