Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Lead and manage the daily VAS/VAD operation to ensure all customer requirements are executed accurately, efficiently, and within established service level agreements. Plan and oversee staffing, scheduling, labor allocation, and workload distribution to support operational demands while maintaining productivity and cost efficiency. Drive operational performance and profitability through effective labor management, resource utilization, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Partner with warehouse operations, transportation, customer service, and leadership teams to ensure alignment, communication, and seamless execution of customer requirements. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity metrics, and service levels, taking proactive action to address performance gaps and improve operational results. Provide leadership, coaching, and development to supervisors and associates while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, quality, and customer service excellence. Identify, investigate, and resolve operational challenges, service disruptions, and customer escalations in a timely and effective manner. Ensure inventory accuracy, reporting compliance, and adherence to customer-specific SOPs, operational procedures, and company policies. Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on enhancing operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance. Maintain a safe working environment by promoting and enforcing all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing/Walking 75% of the time Stand or sit for long periods of time Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to analyze and resolve complex warehouse operational issues. Ability to be a team-player and work effectively with senior-level staff. Ability to manage and lead staff to excellent performance. Proficient at MS Office Ability to pay attention to detail and be highly organized. Ability to handle warehouse accounting and book-keeping. Working knowledge of electronic inventory control system Working knowledge of safety and security procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED is required. 5 or more years of experience with warehouse work. 3 or more years of supervisory or management experience
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
Professional certification may be required in some areas.
