Job Summary The Direct Support Professional (DSP) Supervisor oversees and supports a team of DSPs who provide care to individuals with intellectual, developmental, or physical disabilities in a home healthcare setting. The DSP Supervisor ensures quality care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and a safe, supportive environment for both clients and employees. In this vital role, you will promote independence, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for those in your care. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help foster a nurturing atmosphere where residents can thrive. Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of Direct Support Professionals to ensure high-quality client care. Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing support to staff Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations. Step in to provide direct care and support to clients as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including care notes and incident reports. Communicate effectively with staff, clients, families, and management. Address and resolve staff or client concerns, conflicts, and emergencies promptly. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of DSP staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional or similar caregiving role Supervisory or leadership experience preferred Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Valid driver's license and clean driving record CPR/First Aid certification Join us as a DSP Supervisor to bring energy, compassion, and professionalism into the lives of those you serve. $20.50 per hour
