Full-Time About the Opportunity Lincoln Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to lead operations at our Strasburg, Ohio facility. This is a key leadership position responsible for the overall safety, performance, productivity, and development of the operation and its employees. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader who understands manufacturing and oilfield operations, holds employees and supervisors accountable, and is equally comfortable on the shop floor and working with senior leadership. What You'll Do As Operations Manager, you will: Provide leadership and oversight of daily manufacturing and operational activities. Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and employees while establishing clear expectations and accountability. Ensure compliance with Company safety policies, OSHA requirements, environmental regulations, and applicable industry standards. Promote a strong safety culture and proactively identify and address workplace hazards and operational risks. Monitor production, labor, equipment utilization, quality, and operational performance. Establish and track KPIs to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Manage staffing, scheduling, training, attendance, and workforce planning. Address employee performance concerns promptly and consistently through coaching and performance management. Partner with Human Resources on employee relations, hiring, onboarding, documentation, and workforce development. Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and operational disruptions. Develop and improve operational procedures, workflows, and processes. Manage operating costs and identify opportunities to improve productivity and profitability. Support budgeting, forecasting, staffing plans, and operational planning. Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers. Ensure operational documentation, reporting, and employee records are completed accurately and on time. Participate in safety incidents and operational investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Lead operational meetings and effectively communicate goals, expectations, priorities, and results. Support capital projects, facility improvements, expansions, and other strategic initiatives. Maintain strong communication between the Ohio operation, corporate leadership, customers, and supporting departments. Provide leadership during operational challenges and respond to urgent business needs when required.
What We're Looking For Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. 5-10 years of manufacturing, oil and gas, OCTG, steel, or related industrial operations experience preferred. 3-5+ years of progressive leadership or operations management experience. Experience managing supervisors and hourly employees in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong understanding of production, safety, quality, maintenance, labor management, and operational processes. Demonstrated ability to improve employee and operational performance. Experience coaching, developing, and holding employees accountable. Working knowledge of OSHA and industrial safety requirements. Experience with budgeting, labor management, forecasting, and cost control. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems. The position may require:
Standing and walking for extended periods. Bending, climbing, and navigating manufacturing areas. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Exposure to industrial noise, moving equipment, dust, and varying temperatures. Travel between Company locations or customer/vendor sites as needed.
