We are currently seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead and oversee field operations across multiple projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to effectively coordinate personnel, subcontractors, resources, and client expectations to drive successful project outcomes.   • Skills, knowledge and abilities required for the role of Field Operations Manager
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on construction experience.
  • Strong background in construction operations and project coordination.
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed. Job responsibilities and duties to include:
  • Manage and oversee daily field operations for assigned construction projects.
  • Schedule and coordinate the work of company crews, subcontractors, vendors, and various trades.
  • Plan labor, equipment, and material needs to support project schedules and productivity goals.
  • Monitor project progress, workmanship, and quality to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations.
  • Identify, address, and resolve issues that arise during the course of a project.
  • Work closely with clients, project managers, and field personnel to ensure project objectives and expectations are met.
  • Manage project budgets by tracking costs, controlling expenses, and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and project performance.
  • Ensure all necessary permits, inspections, and approvals are obtained and maintained.
  • Verify compliance with applicable laws, regulations, building codes, and safety requirements.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate project updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Train, mentor, and support field employees while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee project closeout activities, punch list completion, and final client satisfaction.
  • Assume overall responsibility for running jobs and ensuring successful project execution from start to finish.
This position requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of projects, clients, and the organization. The Field Operations Manager may be called upon to support multiple projects, adjust priorities, assist with special initiatives, and take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve. Occasional travel, modified work schedules, and extended hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines and operational objectives. The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to collaborate across departments, respond effectively to unforeseen challenges, and provide leadership wherever needed to ensure the successful execution of projects and achievement of company goals. Schedule is subject to change based on weather, workload or other factors based on business need.
