Job Description
- Operations Manager
Reports To:
OwnerJob Overview:
- This position is responsible for managing and building the business unit focusing on sales and service, PMs; Repair; Load bank testing and servicing; generator rentals, and light tower rentals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Build business model and customer relations in the generator industry.
- Working directly with distributors and manufacturers
- Manage and direct salesman in territory
- Manage projects and scheduling
- Manage service technicians
- Coordinate all rental units delivered to the customer with sales representatives and sales manager.
- Review and approve all outgoing bids
- Responsible for company's safety program to include monthly meetings, documentation, safety reports, and all other matters related to safety.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining records of all the tools and equipment assigned to division.
- Assist company management with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Specific industry experience desired or an equivalent college degree.
- Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task are required.
- Computer skills including experience with QuickBooks and the MS Office suite of programs is preferred.
