Job Description

HazelfernNewberg, ORJob Description:
Hazelfern Cellars, located in Oregon s Willamette Valley (Newberg, Oregon, 50 minutes SW of Portland), is looking for a friendly and service-minded hospitality associates to join our team.

Hazelfern is an exciting and fast-growing boutique winery with a focus on growing+making high quality and elegant single-vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. In addition, we also make a small amount of Ros , Gamay Noir, and Trousseau Noir each vintage.

Being a boutique winery, you ll join a small and tight-knit team of 2-4, and be very hands on with all aspects of the barn-style tasting room including providing an exceptional experience for all winery guests, hosting seated tastings by reservation, educating guests about Hazelfern s story, our wines and our vineyards, answering hospitality e-mails and phone calls, maintaining a clean service space, and washing and polishing glassware. In addition to tasting room duties, you ll also assist with packing wine orders from Hazelfern.com, help run our semi-annual Friends & Family wine club shipments, and assist with our winery events and club pick-up parties.

We are currently hiring part-time positions for weekends.
Requirements:
Strong work ethic and a positive (and fun!) attitude A passion for wine and a love for hospitality Strong ability to drive conversation and build meaningful relationships with our clients and guests Written and verbal communication skills over phone and e-mail Detail oriented and have a professional demeanor Reliability Excitement to work weekends, special events, and some holidays Previous hospitality/customer service experience preferred Must be 21+ years of age with a valid OLCC card and have reliable transportation Ability to stand or work for long periods of time, as well as lift 50 lbs.
