This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in event management, guest services, and public speaking while working in a fast-paced resort or entertainment setting. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee various events and activities to ensure smooth execution and maximum guest enjoyment Manage guest interactions with enthusiasm, providing exceptional customer service and resolving conflicts swiftly and effectively Handle cash transactions accurately during ticketing, concessions, or merchandise sales Assist in maintaining safety standards by wearing all PPE when required and keeping the building up to standards Engage with children and families through entertaining activities, ensuring a fun and safe environment for all ages Use public speaking skills to make announcements, introduce performers or activities, and communicate important information clearly Support team members with operations by assisting with setup, scooping garbage, and maintaining cleanliness in all other areas Requirements Previous experience in events management or hospitality is highly desirable Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Excellent customer service and guest services skills to create positive experiences for visitors of all ages Cash handling experience to manage transactions efficiently and accurately Forklift certification or experience is preferred but can train Working with children experience to engage young guests in activities confidently Public speaking abilities to effectively communicate with large groups or audiences Background in food service or hospitality environments is a plus Experience working in entertainment industry settings is advantageous for understanding entertainment dynamics Must be able to lift 55 lbs, not sensitive to loud noises and can wear a N95 mask for periods of time.
