Job Description

Position Overview Forge Hospitality is seeking a motivated and service-driven Operations Manager to support daily operations at our Tru by Hilton property. This leadership role is responsible for assisting in the overall management of hotel operations, driving guest satisfaction, supporting team development, and ensuring operational excellence in alignment with Tru by Hilton and Hilton brand standards. The Operations Manager will work closely with the General Manager to foster a positive team culture, improve operational performance, and deliver an engaging guest experience. Key Responsibilities Support the daytoday operations of the hotel across all departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance/Engineering, and breakfast operations. Assist in driving guest satisfaction and resolving service concerns to improve guest scores, online reviews, and overall brand reputation. Help create a fun, energetic, and guestfocused culture that reflects the Tru by Hilton brand experience. Supervise, coach, and support team members and department leaders to ensure accountability, engagement, and strong performance. Assist with scheduling, labor management, payroll controls, and expense management to help achieve operational and financial goals. Ensure compliance with Tru by Hilton and Hilton brand standards, safety procedures, and all local/state/federal regulations. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance standards, and operational efficiency throughout the hotel. Support onboarding and ongoing training initiatives to develop team members and strengthen service culture. Partner with the General Manager to implement operational improvements and achieve performance targets related to guest satisfaction, labor, and profitability. Assist with inventory management, purchasing, vendor coordination, and cost control initiatives. Maintain strong communication across departments to ensure smooth hotel operations and a seamless guest experience. Act as Manager on Duty as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or equivalent preferred; equivalent combination of education and hospitality experience considered. 2+ years of hotel leadership or supervisory experience preferred (selectservice experience strongly preferred; Hilton experience a plus). Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest service standards, and team leadership. Ability to lead by example in a fastpaced, servicefocused environment. Experience with guest recovery, brand standards, and quality assurance processes preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and problemsolving skills with a guestfirst mindset. Proficiency with hotel systems (PMS experience required; Hilton systems a plus). Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
