Qualifications:
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Elementary education,
Business Management, Operations Responsibilities:
The Director of Operations must be well organized and able to handle many different obligations.
Responsibilities include the following:
ADMINISTRATIVE
Maintain compliance with Goddard corporate standards; Maintain and update the employee and parent handbooks annually; Maintain the school inventory of snacks and paper goods; Conduct emergency drills, such as fire, tornado and intruder drills, in accordance with Goddard standards and state licensing requirements; Maintain daily classroom ratios.
FISCAL:
Operate the School within budget; Arrange for maintenance and repairs; In coordination with the Educational Directors, purchase the classroom equipment and indoor and outdoor supplies;
LICENSING
Initiate and maintain a positive relationship with the licensing agent; Maintain the current licensing and Quality Assurance documentation; Comply with all current licensing regulations.
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT
Plan and schedule visitors in support of weekly themes; Implement and maintain a community relations program; Develop and implement Summer Camp program events; Coordinate quarterly charity events.
SALES AND MARKETING
Schedule tours with all prospective customers; Support the development and implementation of community outreach activities; Implement and oversee Goddard touring best practices, including hallway posters, boards, pictures and classroom STEAM visuals; Coordinate school functions and events; eg socials, Back to School night, Summer Reading Challenges, etc; Write and distribute monthly parent newsletter; Take photos of special events and day to day classroom activities for use on art boards, social media, and lobby display; Maintain social media calendar, events, faculty information, photos - Facebook, Website, etc.
