Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, hands on Bilingual Food Production & Operations Manager to oversee daily plant operations, shipping, assembly, order accuracy, and overall facility organization. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in a food manufacturing or food production environment and be comfortable managing employees while remaining actively involved on the production floor. Responsibilities Manage and organize daily food production and assembly operations Supervise production, packaging, assembly, warehouse, and shipping employees Coordinate daily production schedules and ensure customer orders are completed on time Oversee shipping and receiving activities Verify order accuracy, quantities, labels, case counts, pallets, and shipping documentation before orders leave the facility Ensure products are assembled and packaged according to customer specifications Maintain an organized, clean, efficient, and food safe production facility Follow and enforce SQF, food safety, sanitation, allergen, GMP, and company procedures Complete required production, quality, shipping, and food safety documentation Monitor employee productivity and make sure labor is being used efficiently Identify production issues before they cause delays or incorrect shipments Coordinate with management, customer service, purchasing, production, and warehouse teams Assist with inventory organization and ensure ingredients, packaging, and finished goods are properly stored and identified Train employees on production procedures, food safety requirements, order accuracy, and workplace expectations Maintain accountability throughout the plant and make sure assigned work is completed correctly Qualifications Bilingual English and Spanish required Previous food manufacturing or food production management experience required Experience supervising production, packaging, warehouse, assembly, or shipping employees Strong understanding of food safety and manufacturing procedures SQF, GMP, HACCP, or similar food safety experience strongly preferred Strong organizational and leadership skills Excellent attention to detail, especially regarding order accuracy and shipping Ability to prioritize multiple production and shipping deadlines Comfortable working directly on the production floor and solving problems in real time Ability to communicate effectively with both English- and Spanish speaking employees We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the plant, keeps production organized, holds employees accountable, and makes sure every order is produced, assembled, and shipped correctly and on time. This is a hands-on management position for someone who understands that successful food manufacturing requires organization, accuracy, cleanliness, communication, and strong daily leadership.
