Job Description
The Lancaster Stormers at Penn Medicine Park are seeking a Stadium Operations Manager. Position Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, and execution of stadium operations and facility management. This position oversees the maintenance, safety, and appearance of the ballpark while managing departmental staff, budgets, vendors, capital improvements, and operational planning for games and special events. The Operations Manager works collaboratively with all departments to ensure the facility is safe, functional, and prepared to deliver an exceptional experience for fans, staff, players, and guests. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for all stadium operations and facility maintenance. Develop departmental goals, operating procedures, and preventative maintenance programs. Manage and supervise the Operations Supervisor and Operations Coordinator. Prepare and manage departmental budgets and capital improvement projects. Oversee vendor relationships, service contracts, and procurement of equipment and supplies. Ensure the stadium remains safe, operational, and aesthetically maintained. Coordinate facility preparation for all games, events, and non-baseball activities. Oversee maintenance and facility improvement projects. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate with internal departments regarding operational needs for games and events. Lead weekly operations meetings and participate in organizational planning meetings. Analyze operational challenges and implement process improvements. Investigate and resolve facility-related issues and customer concerns. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises the Operations Supervisor and Operations Coordinator. Oversees seasonal operations staff and contracted vendors. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Sports Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered. Five or more years of progressively responsible facility or operations management experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Sports, entertainment, or event venue experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong leadership and team development skills. Budget management and project planning experience. Knowledge of facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service mindset.
