Job Description
Are you an experienced construction leader who thrives in the field and knows how to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule? We're seeking a Construction Field Operations Manager to oversee daily field operations across multiple commercial construction projects throughout the Pittsburgh region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, solving challenges, and ensuring projects are completed with the highest standards of quality and safety.
What You'll DoOversee daily field operations for multiple active commercial construction projects.
Lead and support Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel to ensure successful project execution.
Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maximize productivity.
Monitor project schedules and collaborate with Project Managers to keep projects on time and within budget.
Conduct regular job site visits to ensure quality workmanship, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company standards.
Champion a strong safety culture by enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Resolve field issues quickly while minimizing project delays.
Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, hiring, and employee development.
Track project performance and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.5+ years of construction leadership experience overseeing field operations on commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, quality control, and job site logistics.
Proven leadership experience managing multiple crews and project teams.
Thorough understanding of OSHA safety regulations and construction best practices.
Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software is a plus.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout the Pittsburgh area.
