Job Description

BigIron is looking for an organized and detail-oriented team member to join our Auction Operations team in Hamilton, Illinois. In this role, you will help ensure auction listings are complete, accurate, and ready for sale. You will work with internal teams and external contacts to review documents, update auction information, research records, and help resolve questions related to auction listings. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with information, solving problems, staying organized, and paying close attention to details. This is an hourly, hybrid role based out of our Hamilton, Illinois office. What You'll Do Conduct basic lien searches using iLien.

Research bankruptcy records and other public records.

Complete title and VIN searches through state Secretary of State and DMV websites.

Review UCC filings and related documentation as part of the auction process.

Review and verify title and ownership information before items are listed for auction.

Review auction descriptions for accuracy, spelling, grammar, and proper category placement.

Update listing information and ownership information as needed.

Review, approve, and publish listings and lots to the public website.

Work with the Sales Team, lenders, buyers, and sellers to resolve questions and obtain missing information.

Maintain department reports and assist with reporting and data updates.

Research and resolve issues related to titles, ownership, documentation, and auction listings.

Manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines.

Complete required training and apply that knowledge to daily work.

Identify opportunities to improve processes and make work more efficient.

Maintain confidential company and customer information appropriately.

Perform other duties as assigned.
