riex is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our growing manufacturing business. This role is responsible for ensuring that the operational and administrative foundation of the company runs smoothly. Responsibilities include bookkeeping, purchasing, inventory administration, order processing, business systems administration, and general office operations. The ideal candidate enjoys creating structure, solving problems, maintaining accurate records, and supporting a fast-paced team. This position works closely with leadership, suppliers, customers, and manufacturing partners to help ensure efficient business operations. This is a part-time position (approximately 20-30 hours per week) with the potential to expand as the company grows. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping Create and distribute customer invoices Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments Process vendor invoices and accounts payable Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Assist with monthly financial reporting and close activities Purchasing & Supplier Coordination Create and manage purchase orders Maintain supplier records and pricing information Track open purchase orders and delivery schedules Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices Inventory & Manufacturing Administration Maintain inventory accuracy within Katana Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment needs Support production planning and manufacturing administration Order Processing & Customer Administration Process customer orders through Shopify and internal systems Ensure orders are accurately entered and fulfilled Coordinate with operations and customer service team Business Systems Administration Support administration of QuickBooks, Katana, and Shopify Ensure data accuracy across systems Help identify opportunities for automation and process improvements Support implementation of new operational processes General Business Administration Support employee administrative activities Organize operational documentation and records Prepare routine reports and KPI updates Assist leadership with special projects and operational initiatives Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, office administration, operations, accounting support, or business administration Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or hardware businesses Inventory management experience Experience with ERP systems such as Katana, NetSuite, or similar Shopify experience Purchasing or supply chain experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Operations, or related field
