We're looking for a Director of Administration to lead and elevate the administrative teams who support our financial services professionals' business across annuities, life insurance, investments, and advisory services. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on building strong teams, improving processes, and ensuring that the behind-the-scenes engine of our organization runs seamlessly.

What You'll Do:

As Director of Administration, you will serve as a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for the performance, development, and alignment of our administrative functions. Lead, coach, and develop administrative teams supporting annuity, life insurance, investment, and advisory operations Drive operational excellence by improving workflows, increasing efficiency, and reducing risk Partner cross-functionally with financial services professionals, compliance professionals, and company leadership to ensure a smooth and compliant client experience Establish and monitor metrics to measure team performance and service standards Identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions that support business growth Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements across all supported product lines Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement What You Bring We're looking for a leader who combines operational expertise with a people-first mindset. 7+ years of experience in financial services operations, administration, or related field 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams Strong working knowledge of annuities, life insurance, investments, and advisory services Active Series 65 license Active Life and Health Insurance license Proven ability to streamline processes and lead through change High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance Exceptional communication and organizational skills A collaborative, solutions-oriented leadership style Our Benefits Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits 4 weeks of accrued PTO, plus 9 paid holidays Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) 8 hours of paid volunteer time off (VTO) Ability to work in-office four days per week with one remote workday Ongoing professional development and training A collaborative team that values expertise, initiative, and growth Why You'll Love Working Here At Gradient, we set high expectations, but we back them with support, collaboration, and opportunities to grow.
