Job Summary The Director of Operations will mange our Invoice Factoring company's on daily basis . You will directly manage a team of AP and AR professionals as well as portfolio Managers and work hand -in -hand with Accounting , Credit , underwriting and Sales to ensure and maintain the overall efficiency of our Factoring Operations . Your Primary duties will include managing and Motivating your team , as well as mediating client disputes and resolution of issues. We expect you to lead all the departments with extreme efficiency and document all the company policies and procedures and enforce it .
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Participates in the hiring and training of departmental managers. Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of departmental managers. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy. Deal with Client Disputes and legal issue along with company corporate attorney's Handle the relationship with our Bank and be on top of audits and Daily BBR Attend Strategic Sales meetings and make sure we close deals on profitable margins. Potential to assume increased responsibilities. Duties Oversees the daily administration of the organization by implementing policies, procedures, and programs. Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures. Maintaining the trend in the Company EBITDA and manage the growth and minimize the bad Debt . Implement and improve the Internal Controls to protect the company from Frauds or buying bogus receivables. Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations. Inquire and effectively communicate account status with customers and internal departments . Communicate with customers to work out payment arrangements and/or escalate collections efforts. Review Financial information compared to client with each portfolio Manager. Ensure receipt and review of client and customers compliance items ( i.e. ,Financials , payables , etc ..) Review trend performance with each portfolio manager Manage/approve reserves with portfolio Managers be the final approver on the bank for daily fundings. Get with accounting on daily basis to pull bank reports and provide reporting and cash posting details Get with accounting on cash flow analysis and managed the line of credit with Lenders to maintain adequate daily cashflow for daily funding. Manage term loans exposure and equipment financing and establish debt to income rations to approve or decline the loan requests . Attend the Weekly credit committee meeting to approve /decline increase houseline limits and/or discuss the concentrations . Oversees AP , AR, Accounting, Credit ,underwriting and sales departments, ensuring each is reaching goals set by departmental and company leadership. Plans, directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and cost of sales in each division to achieve financial objectives. Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale. Improves customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes. Maintain and grow relationships with clients . Work with sales to oversea growth of customer accounts Set customers up for success by working with sales team for smooth transition of Prospect from underwriting to onboarding Requirements Leads coordination and integration of efforts among operations,Collections, Accounting, credit , underwriting and customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes. Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Master's in Finance or Accounting required CPA is acceptable for Masters Equivalent. 10 + years of progressive financial management experience Preferably in the Invoice Factoring industry. A proven track record of success in leading profitable financial operations for a complex enterprise. Exceptional relationship building skills with all levels of the organization. Proactively identify and address critical problems and issues, bring them forward and work to find solutions for them. A self-starter Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and finance. Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Superior managerial and diplomacy skills. An individual who is comfortable with being held accountable for achieving results, and who can instill accountability in others. Understands the many facets of financial and other corporate risks with proven capability of managing them. Potential to assume increased responsibilities. Unwavering ethics and integrity with a personal values system consistent. Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Willing to Travel to meet with the team and clients -as needed
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
