This dual-function role is essential to strengthening our organizational infrastructure and ensuring sustainable, responsible growth as we expand services to individuals experiencing homelessness. Key Responsibilities Administrative Operations
  • Manage administrative correspondence and vendor contracts
  • Ensure insurance, licensing, and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee HR administrative documentation and document management systems
  • Coordinate board meeting materials Grant Research & Writing
  • Identify new grant opportunities (local, state, federal, foundation)
  • Maintain a grant calendar and manage submission deadlines
  • Write and submit competitive grant proposals; build relationships with funders
  • Prepare narrative and financial reports for funders in collaboration with program staff Data & Compliance Oversight
  • Track service metrics and KPIs required for funding
  • Ensure compliance with government grant requirements
  • Maintain documentation for audits and monitoring visits Development
  • Build relationships with funders, community partners, businesses, and donors.
  • Support donor engagement, fundraising campaigns, special events, and community giving initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand individual giving, corporate sponsorships, and community support.   • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Nonprofit Management, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of nonprofit accounting experience
  • Demonstrated success in grant writing
  • Strong QuickBooks proficiency
  • Knowledge of nonprofit financial compliance
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines Preferred
  • Experience in homeless services or human services
  • Knowledge of government grant reporting systems
  • Detail-oriented but strategic
  • Strong writer and relationship builder
  • Systems thinker, self-directed and proactive
  • Comfortable in a growing organization
  • Passionate about serving vulnerable populations Other Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance.
