Director of Operations & Integrator Speak Your Way To Cash Alpharetta, GA Job Details Full-time $150,000 - $200,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Startup experience Team leadership Automation software Team development Profit & Loss statement Managing projects Budgeting AI-driven automation Profit and loss analysis Process management Delegation Senior leadership
Full Job Description Travel:
Required periodically, including travel to Georgia and company events
Compensation:
$150,000 per year + performance-based bonus The One-Sentence Test If the CEO is still assigning tasks, chasing updates, building project plans, solving team problems, or acting as the project manager, this role is not working. The right person can run this company for 30 days without the CEO. The Mission Turn the CEO's vision into flawless execution—and get her out of the day-to-day entirely. Speak Your Way To Cash® is a two-time Inc. 5000 company that helps experts, entrepreneurs, speakers, consultants, and executives turn their expertise into high-value corporate contracts. We are not looking for a traditional Director of Operations who simply manages projects and reports status. We need an Integrator . You will own the systems, people, projects, launches, events, numbers, and accountability required to keep the company moving. Your job is to build and run the operating engine of the business so our Founder & CEO can focus on the work only she can do: generating revenue, selling, speaking, building strategic partnerships, leading thought, and growing the brand.
This is equal parts:
COO-level operator Integrator Systems architect Project leader People leader Financial steward Business builder Hands-on executor This is not a coordinator role, and it is not intended for someone looking to step into their first senior operations leadership position. What Winning Looks Like You are succeeding when: The CEO spends less than 10% of her time on operations. Team members know exactly what they own without asking the CEO. Every project, launch, event, and company initiative has a documented plan, measurable outcome, deadline, and named owner. Problems come to you—not the CEO. Systems are documented, trained, followed, audited, and continuously improved. The team is held accountable to results rather than activity. The business operates smoothly when the CEO is completely unavailable. Revenue targets are supported through operational excellence rather than last-minute heroics. Costs are continually optimized without reducing quality. The CEO receives dashboards, insights, solutions, and recommendations—not a list of problems. Your First 14 Days This position proves itself quickly. Within your first 14 days, you will begin getting the company out of the CEO's head and into a documented operating system. Days 1-3: CEO Extraction Through structured conversations with the Founder, you will capture and organize: Company vision and strategic goals Revenue targets Programs, offers, products, and events Marketing strategy Sales processes Customer journey Team structure Existing systems Current workflows Decision-making processes Recurring operational problems Bottlenecks Every area where the CEO remains the single point of failure Days 4-7: Business Audit You will conduct an operational audit across: Team structure and responsibilities Employees, contractors, and vendors Software and recurring subscriptions Marketing Sales Customer success Events Reporting Project management Financial operations SOP infrastructure Then tell us the truth. What is inefficient? What is costing too much? Where is ownership unclear? What should be eliminated? What should be automated? What is duplicated? Which systems are missing? Where do we have staffing or performance gaps? You will deliver recommendations in priority order—not simply observations. Days 8-14: Build the Operating System You will begin designing and implementing systems for: Daily team accountability Weekly planning Project management Launch management Event management Marketing execution Sales follow-up Hiring and recruiting Employee onboarding Customer success KPI tracking Financial reporting Executive reporting SOP management System compliance Most importantly, you will build mechanisms that ensure these systems are actually followed . Deliverables Due by Day 14 You will deliver the first version of: CEO Extraction Report Team Accountability Map Operations Audit Cost Reduction Report Systems Audit 90-
Day Operations Plan Company KPI Dashboard System Compliance Plan What You Will Own:
Team Leadership You will: Lead daily accountability across the team. Set clear expectations and ownership. Remove blockers quickly. Ensure deadlines are met. Coach and develop team members. Conduct one-on-ones. Address poor performance directly. Create performance improvement plans when necessary. Make staffing recommendations based on results. You must be comfortable having difficult conversations. Project Management You will own every active project from beginning to end.
That means:
Establishing the plan Assigning owners Setting deadlines Tracking progress Managing dependencies Identifying risks early Removing obstacles Ensuring execution The CEO should never have to ask, "What happened with that project?" CEO Support & Protection You will protect the CEO's time and attention.
You will:
Filter operational requests. Keep unnecessary decisions away from her. Help prioritize opportunities. Escalate only what truly requires CEO involvement. Make sure she is focused on high-value revenue and growth activities. Systems Management You will own company systems from creation through adoption.
That includes:
SOP libraries Checklists Training documentation Workflow design Automation KPI tracking Accountability structures Compliance reviews Creating a system is not success. Success means people consistently use it without being reminded. Launch Oversight You will monitor and respond to: Registrations Applications Show rates Leads Conversion rates Revenue Email performance SMS performance Advertising performance Sales follow-up You must be able to see something underperforming and take corrective action—not simply report that it happened. Event Oversight Live events are an important part of our business.
You may oversee:
Venues Hotels Speakers Sponsors Production Vendors Travel Staffing Timelines Registration Attendee experience On-site execution Events do not always happen between 9 AM and 5 PM. Neither does this role. Financial Stewardship You should be comfortable working with: P&Ls Revenue Expenses Cash flow Budgets Forecasting Contractor costs Software subscriptions Vendor agreements Profitability Financial KPIs You will continually look for opportunities to cancel, consolidate, renegotiate, automate, or improve without sacrificing quality. What You Bring We are looking for someone with: 7+ years of senior operations leadership experience Previous experience at the Director of Operations, COO, President, Integrator, or equivalent level Experience running day-to-day operations—not merely advising them Proven experience taking significant operational responsibility off a founder or CEO Experience building systems and processes from scratch Strong people-management and performance-accountability experience P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting experience Experience leading remote teams Strong project-management skills Experience operating in a fast-changing, entrepreneurial environment Practical experience with AI, automation, and modern business systems Experience in coaching, consulting, education, events, professional services, digital products, or another high-growth founder-led company is strongly preferred. Experience overseeing six- or seven-figure launches is highly valuable. Experience managing large conferences, workshops, live events, or other complex event operations is also highly valuable. You Must Be Hands-On We are not looking for someone who only delegates, advises, holds meetings, or creates strategy decks. There will be times when you personally need to: Build a dashboard Fix a workflow Create an SOP Analyze numbers Set up a project plan Troubleshoot an automation Handle a vendor issue Solve an event problem Jump into a launch Follow up on something urgent You must be comfortable moving between executive-level strategy and hands-on execution . The Pace This is a high-growth entrepreneurial company. Priorities can change quickly. Major launches and events may require nights, weekends, travel, and extended hours. We want someone who enjoys that pace , not someone who merely tolerates it until things "settle down." If your ideal environment is highly predictable, strictly 9-5, or dependent upon clearly defined boundaries between every function, this is probably not the right opportunity. Who You Are You are a builder. You walk into chaos and instinctively begin creating structure. You ask hard questions. You follow through. You do not wait for the CEO to remind you. You notice problems before they become emergencies. You know the difference between activity and results. You can coach a strong employee and confront an underperforming one. You understand numbers. You understand people. You understand that operations exist to support revenue, profitability, customer experience, and growth .
And above all:
You can take what lives inside a founder's head and build a company that runs without them. To Apply Please submit your resume. Your resume should clearly demonstrate what you personally owned and the measurable results you produced . We are especially interested in seeing examples of: Companies or business units you have run Revenue/P&L responsibility Founders or CEOs you have freed from day-to-day operations Systems you built from scratch Teams you led Performance issues you addressed Costs you reduced Launches you managed Live events you oversaw Revenue growth you supported AI or automation you implemented Please do not apply if your experience is primarily executive assistance, coordination, project administration, or consulting without direct operational ownership. We are looking for someone who has already been the operator .
Pay:
$150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
