This is a remote position based out of the Tri-State area: Indiana / Ohio / Pennsylvania. We have a portfolio of 10-14 Full-Service and Focus Service properties, waiting for the right LEADER to lay the foundation. We are looking for a Regional Director of Operations that is highly motivated, determined, and results oriented. You will be able to perform in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and possess strong multi-tasking skills. This position is responsible for over-seeing the Daily Operations, Human Resources, Accounting, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Sales that enables the hotel to meet and/or exceed revenue goals. The Regional Director of Operations will strive to exceed all guest/client expectations and lead the Hotel teams. The successful candidate must have high standards, great people skills and passion, as this hotel will perform well and complacency cannot be in your vocabulary! We look for some of the following attributes when considering candidates: Sales and Marketing - Every One Sells - The Regional Diretor of Operations & General Manager will assist in selling the hotel. Aspiration Leadership - Can you create a strong vision that instills superior sales & customer service throughout the portfolio? We are looking for someone who is able to set and communicate high standards and has a strong people orientation which engages and binds the team together for service delivery that is second to none. Do you have the ability to implement systems and processes that significantly and continually improve sales and operational performance? Accountability - The training and follow up of team members insuring that their job is done properly and that they have the necessary tools to perform superior work. Achieving goals, hitting targeted due dates and deadlines are a must for this position. Strong Customer Service Orientation - The successful candidate will anticipate and develop strong response to customer needs; brings the team along to create a customer service experience that drives repeat business. Follows through on commitments to customers and team members; leads by example so that the staff models' leadership behavior. We want this hotel to lead the market in customer service and gracious, warm hospitality that keeps repeat customers loyal. Financial Leadership - In this role, you will assist in the development, recommendation, implementation, and manage the hotel's annual budget and long-term business plan, sales and marketing. The candidate will possess the ability to control expenses and to seek new business to ensure budgeted goals of profitability are met or exceeded. You need to be on top of your pricing, keeping abreast of trends and have the ability to adjust and change on a daily basis. While these are not all of the things we look for in a Regional Director of Operations Candidate, it will give you a flavor of what we are looking for within a leader for our portfolio. Job Responsibilities - Key responsibilities of a Regional Director of Operations include: Achieving or exceeding budgeted hotel revenue & expenses goals-budgets; Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize revenue generation; Creating and managing Annual Budget - Marketing Plan; Monitor sales activities/performance to ensure revenue goals meet or exceed established plan and accurately reporting variance/projections to management; Using corporate | brand Revenue Management resources to Assist with providing strategic revenue management plans within the hotel to include; Developing and maintaining positive relationships with peers, competitors and brand partners; Ensuring that the property is maximizing the use of all company, brand and local CVB programs; Recruiting the best possible team and reducing turnover through coaching, counseling and training; Providing support and coaching for team members to drive high levels of performance, job satisfaction, and personal growth; Training and empowering team members to exercise good judgment to make profitable business decisions; Ensuring that the hotel sales team is effectively using the Sales Tools available; Must be able to train & incorporate the Front Desk Staff into the Sales Culture; Perform all other related duties / projects / reports as assigned by the Corporate Staff.Requirements:
5+ Years Previous Area General Manager | Regional Director of Operations Full Service Experience isREQUIRED!
Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills Marketing & Sales Knowledge Strong Orientation to Team / Collaborative Leadership Strong experience in Revenue Generation and Revenue Management Experience with Marriott and Hilton is preferred.
