Install Manager & Trainer (Polyaspartic Garage Coatings)

Installation Manager / Trainer - Polyurea & Polyaspartic Garage Floor Coatings Garage Flooring Pros is seeking a high-level Installation Manager / Trainer to improve installation quality, reduce call-backs, and help scale operations across Southwest Florida, covering territory from Tampa to Naples. We are looking for a true expert in polyurea/polyaspartic garage floor coatings — someone who understands coatings, surface prep, environmental conditions, crew management, and how to build systems that produce consistent quality at scale.

The ideal candidate may be:

A former business owner A senior installer or foreman An operations-minded manager A trainer and coach with extensive field experience This role can be tailored based on the candidate's strengths. Some candidates may lean more heavily into field training and hands-on installation support, while others may skew more toward operations management, quality control, crew oversight, and process improvement. Primary Objective Reduce installation call-back rates from double digit % to below 5% through: Better training Improved oversight Stronger accountability Quality control systems Crew development and leadership Responsibilities Train and coach installation crews Conduct field inspections and quality reviews Diagnose installation failures and recurring issues Develop and enforce installation SOPs and best practices Hire, train, manage, and terminate crews when necessary Improve consistency across multiple markets Review warranty claims and customer call-backs Assist with scheduling, production, and operational improvement Work directly with ownership and leadership team Create a culture of accountability and craftsmanship Position Structure This role is flexible depending on the candidate's background and strengths: Field-heavy trainer/coaching role Operations and quality management role Hybrid leadership position combining both Expected allocation: Approximately 80% field involvement for hands-on candidates Approximately 20% management/reporting More office/management responsibility possible for stronger operational candidates Requirements Extensive experience with: Polyurea coatings Polyaspartic coatings Concrete grinding and prep Crack repair Full flake systems Moisture-related issues Strong understanding of installation failures and prevention Leadership and crew management experience Ability to command respect from crews in the field Willingness to travel throughout Southwest Florida Strong organizational and communication skills Ideal Candidate Former garage coating company owner Senior coatings foreman Regional installation manager Trainer with real-world production experience Someone passionate about raising installation standards and eliminating poor workmanship Bi-lingual (spanish) Compensation Competitive base salary - based on experience Performance bonuses tied to quality metrics and reduction in call-backs Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Major long-term growth opportunity
